Lead Professionals play a key role for children and their families, as the single point of contact for coordinating provision of a range of services. Learn about the role of a lead professional and the importance of the Continuum of Need in this short, informative course.


This course is intended for everyone who works with children or young people.

This course can be included in an induction programme for new starters, it is also intended for all people who want to improve their knowledge and continue their professional development.


Understand the roles and responsibilities of the Lead Professional, the four levels of need laid out in the Continuum of Need, and gain an all-round view of the tasks that a Lead Professional has in coordination for children and families.

You will automatically get a course certificate on course completion - with your name, the CPD hours, the date and learning objectives.
