Salary: €44,000.00 (£37.848.00) per annum pro rata

Working Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 12:00-16:00

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic Part Time Upper Elementary Wind Band Teacher to join a prestigious educational institution in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging instruction in wind band education to elementary 4th and 5th grade students.
  • Develop innovative lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards and foster a love for music.
  • Provide guidance to beginners in flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, and trumpet, nurturing their musical abilities.
  • Conduct band rehearsals and coordinate performances for school events.
  • Maintain instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in music or a related field.
  • Teaching licensure with relevant endorsements.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in band instruction, with a strong grasp of music theory and performance techniques.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and a passion for music education.
