Sanctuary Personnel are seeking an experienced ADHD Assessor to contribute to our client's service. Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for ADHD in adults and young people, considering differential and co-occurring conditions to inform diagnostic decisions.
  • Utilise clinical judgment and expertise to make treatment decisions, within competence and with supervision as needed.
  • Formulate and execute treatment plans for clients.
  • Ensure ethical, shared decision-making, considering the client's best interests and involving all relevant parties.
  • Perform risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records on the clinical platform.
  • Provide recommendations for additional assessments or interventions within assessment reports.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to enhance ADHD pathways.
  • Offer consultation and training to staff members to develop skills in this domain.
  • Maintain registration with the appropriate governing body and participate in regular clinical supervision, management supervision, NMP supervision, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current NMC or HCPC registration without restrictions.
  • Registered nurse or allied health professional with experience in autonomously diagnosing ADHD.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in ADHD treatments.
  • Right to work in the UK with a UK home address.
  • Experience in conducting remote assessments.
  • Ability to effectively manage own caseload.
  • Proficiency in legislation, research, and developments pertinent to ADHD.
  • A redacted ADHD assessment report must be submitted prior to interview.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in working with both children, young people, and adults with ADHD.
  • Familiarity with relevant screening tools (e.g. DIVA/ADHDRS/Conners).
  • Independent Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.
